I said this on Flagvisioner's userpage but I'll also put it here. I forgot that there's various socks such as Flagvisioner2026 and Flagvisioner2025 (which are presumably impersonation attempts) and that the lock message on Nuke them likely was referring to those socks instead of Flagvisioner. I believe that by Flagvisioner's userpage, Emk9 means User talk:Flagvisioner (their user talk page, not their "userpage".

@Yann, assuming what Emk9 now says is correct, you should not have blocked Flagvisioner. They do not appear to be the sockmaster. Also, this would make your edits to User:Flagvisioner and User:Nuke them wrong (the latter in terms of who is sockmaster). Could you unblock them and revert those edits? Or do you think I'm wrong? This raises an issue

Not stuff I was happy to have to wade through; I've never encountered some of this on Commons before, maybe because it does usually go through Legal rather than through admins. Question to other admins or anyone else who knows policy well: may I presume that somewhere we have a policy that even if a user has posted sexually related content, and even if all concerned are of legal age, it is not appropriate for any user to post to another user's talk page soliciting sexting (or similar requests)? Remarkably, I see nothing at COM:User talk pages that even touches on using the user talk page to reach out inappropriately to another user. It seems to me that the user talk pages are a public enough space that even if this is welcomed by the person in question, this is inappropriate. - Jmabel ! talk 08:40, 18 April 2026 (UTC)
